Collar City Barbell Club

Collar City Crossfit proudly announces the inception of Collar City Barbell (CCB). Collar City Barbell is program for the true Olympic weightlifting enthusiast. CCB is for the individual that is looking for improvement in their Olympic lifts or those who have aspirations of competing one day. Either way, CCB is a no frills competition style training program for those who like the idea of “Big Weights.”  Coach Ray Brunk is a USAW sports performance/club coach and BOLC certified by Totten Training Systems. He brings over 30 years of experience in the iron sports to help achieve your goals. Training consists of 6-12 week cycles broken down into 2-4 meso cycles depending on programming goals. Meso cycles are smaller progressions within the whole to attempt to override staleness and shortcomings of straight linear progression. Workouts will be 80% uniform for all lifters with the addition of specialized movements to bring up weakness’ of the individual. CCB training will be held Tuesday & Thursday 6:00-8:00 PM & Saturday 9:00-11:00 AM. A sample template can be reviewed below:

 This is a simplified template for general understanding. CCCF/CCB will hold a 30 minute introductory overview and Q&A on Saturday August 1st @ 11:00 AM for anyone who is interested in the program. Coach Ray will cover basic info, requirements, goals & expectations. The roster is limited to 10 lifters for the first month. Cost is $100 per month or $165 WL/CF combo.
